Indisk kjerringråd i kulden – Besan ka doodh
Hurray! I say, the snow is finally here, but it just doesn't have to stay until April. Come for a quick visit in December to February and we will have spring. I have to admit that after 39 years in Norway it is strange when there is no snow on Christmas Eve. It is much cleaner with snow, as long as you don't have to shovel, slide on the slippery road and scratch the windows of the car, etc.

Forfriskende vannmelon drink
Watermelon is a fruit that you never get tired of, at least not me. It is usually sweet and juicy, sometimes it can be less sweet, but juicy. In such cases, this recipe is perfect. If there are large brown seeds in it, they should be removed, but I only had white insignificant seeds, so that was no problem.
Fersk hjemmelaget tomatjuice
Hi everyone, today I'm here with a quick and easy tip. I'm certainly a fan of putting a little effort into cooking, but now I'm going to enjoy the good weather too. I love soaking up the sun on the terrace, preferably with a good book or lying on the swing with classical Indian music. When I'm out and about flying, I think tomato juice is really good and think "I need to drink that more often". Then I forget about it when I'm home. The other day I actually got to try it out, and it's so simple, delicious, healthy and filling!! It's also full of vitamin C. If you have sun-ripened tomatoes or good quality ones, the taste is even better. This kind of juice is a luxury abroad because then the tomatoes, pineapple, red onion, etc. have a completely different taste.
Fennikel chai
As you know, chai became a pleasure drink in India only during the British colonial period. With the British came serving in cups and bowls, before it was served in glasses. Chai in a glass is served where you want to follow a traditional style, preferably in a steel glass.
Daddel latte
This type of drink is quite unusual for a Norwegian palate, but you can imagine a hot smoothie or a strong latte; without coffee, of course. That's why I call it a date latte, not a double latte!
