Fennel chai

As you know, chai became a pleasure drink in India only during the British colonial period. With the British came serving in cups and bowls, before it was served in glasses. Chai in a glass is served where you want to follow a traditional style, preferably in a steel glass.

We have several types of healthy chai that work as a health drink without the addition of black tea. I think this one is good both hot and cold. You can find more types of chai and about chaiwalahere .

Here is a healthy recipe that can be used year-round and especially when you want something cold without bubbles or calories.

COLD FENNEL CHAI

2 dl water

1 tablespoon fennel

2 teaspoons brown sugar

3-4 ice cubes

  • Crush half of the fennel seeds and boil the entire amount of seeds with water. Let steep under a lid for 10 minutes with sugar if desired.
  • Place ice cubes in a glass, use a tea strainer and add chilled chai.
