Come May, you beautiful, gentle one…. Yes, now we have arrived in May, if only the mild weather could keep up. It is so wonderful to see the flowers in the fields again, hear the birds in the morning, it has become lighter in the evening too. We are heading towards the best time.
Chai is my favorite drink, you can flavor it with all kinds of delicious spices. When making masala chai, you can grind different spices together; but sometimes it's good to have a pure taste.
Watermelon is a fruit that you never get tired of, at least not me. It is usually sweet and juicy, sometimes it can be less sweet, but juicy. In such cases, this recipe is perfect. If there are large brown seeds in it, they should be removed, but I only had white insignificant seeds, so that was no problem.
As you know, chai became a pleasure drink in India only during the British colonial period. With the British came serving in cups and bowls, before it was served in glasses. Chai in a glass is served where you want to follow a traditional style, preferably in a steel glass.
