I have previously explained that tandoori means cooked in a tandoor , even though these are not made in a tandoor they must be called tandoori almonds, because they are made with the tasty tandoori marinade.
You can do the same with cashew nuts, but remember that they must be natural. At first I tried the same way as roasted almonds , but the result was better and more crispy without water and directly in the oven.
TANDOORI ALMONDS:
200 g almonds
2 tablespoons tandoori paste (own advertising)
Here's how:
- Mix almonds and paste.
- Place them on baking paper in a preheated oven at 150 degrees, about 20 minutes.
- Turn the almonds after 10 minutes, so that you get an even crispiness on both sides.
