Delight your loved one

Have you planned something nice for Valentine's Day? The day has gotten a lot of attention in recent years, as we adopt more American traditions. Personally, I think it's nicer to have an experience together than to give gifts. We all have enough of that. The dish I'm sharing today is made in two processes and is not the easiest, but in India they say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, so maybe you want to do something extra for your loved one on Valentine's Day?

Kofta means a bun like meatball and can be made from vegetables as well. Curry has its origins in kadhi (dh pronounced like a hard l, like Ola in Østfold) and means a dish with sauce. Since the English couldn't pronounce it, they used curry in their own way. This is made from minced meat which becomes keema and the dish is called keema kofta curry.

2 tablespoons curry paste

4 tablespoons sour cream/creme fraiche

½ teaspoon salt

  3. Finish with fresh coriander. Goes well with basmati rice , raita or gluten-free naan, for example. And of course delicious papadams !

Delighting your loved ones with a delicious home-cooked meal made with lots of love is one of the best gifts you can give, in my opinion. GOOD LUCK!
