As you may have understood, sandwiches are something that has been made a lot here at home. Both now and especially when the children were growing up. Simple packed lunch or delicious weekend breakfast! You can also find the recipe with potato or meat .
SANDWICH WITH CHEESE (8 pieces)
100 grams of yellow cheese
75 grams onion
75 grams of tomatoes
75 grams of bell pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 tsp pepper mix
2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander
1-2 green chilies (can be omitted)
Possibly 1-2 teaspoons tabasco/chili sauce
16 slices of bread
A little butter
Procedure:
- Grate the cheese on the coarse side of a grater. Make small cubes of the bell pepper, tomato and onion. Put a little butter on the outside of the bread slices so they don't stick to the toast.
- Mix everything in a bowl. Fill 2-3 tablespoons of this mixture between two slices of bread.
- Place in a sandwich grill/toaster oven until the sandwiches are crispy.
For a change of taste, coriander can be replaced with oregano. Serve with chutney and chai .
