Hey! Now it's time for a new vegetarian dish. Do you like potatoes? There are many of the same spices as in jeera alu , but the taste is completely different. As you probably guessed, alu means potatoes.
Delicacy: Methi alu=Fenugreek and potatoes
3 tablespoons oil
1½ tsp cumin
400 gr fresh fenugreek
200 g potatoes, diced into large cubes
1 teaspoon salt
½ tsp chili powder
1 large tomato, diced
Procedure:
Pinch off the soft stems along with the fenugreek leaves, rinse in a colander and let dry on a cloth until the water is completely gone (preferably the night before). Cut the fenugreek into 1 tablespoon sized pieces.

Heat oil, add cumin and fry for 30 seconds. Add potatoes and fry for 3-4 minutes.


Continue with the clover leaves, tomato cubes and spices. Mix well and cook over low heat until the potatoes are tender.
