Chile, the Ch sound is like chai, is a new variation of pancakes. Are you tired of the usual ones, have tried chickpea flour pancakes and want a completely new taste, then I have a new suggestion! And you know what? They are both super healthy and filling, but of course very tasty too :) Perfect for lunch, packed lunch and a snack, consisting of slow carbohydrates.
This is what you need:
150 gr mung beans
1 teaspoon salt
1 tsp chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander seeds
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander
100 g paneer
A little rapeseed oil for frying
Procedure:
- Rinse mung beans and soak in double the amount of water overnight or for 5-6 hours.
- Crush until puree in a good food processor with a little water.
- Add spices and let swell for 30 minutes.
- Brush a frying pan with oil, make pancakes of the desired size. Grate some paneer and flip.
- Serve with several types of chutney, Date chutney is perfect! Mango lassi or chae are good accompaniments - try it :)
Have a nice day ahead!
