Mung bean pancakes

Chile, the Ch sound is like chai, is a new variation of pancakes. Are you tired of the usual ones, have tried chickpea flour pancakes and want a completely new taste, then I have a new suggestion! And you know what? They are both super healthy and filling, but of course very tasty too :) Perfect for lunch, packed lunch and a snack, consisting of slow carbohydrates.

This is what you need:

150 gr mung beans

1 teaspoon salt

1 tsp chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon ground coriander seeds

2 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander

100 g paneer

A little rapeseed oil for frying

Procedure:

  • Rinse mung beans and soak in double the amount of water overnight or for 5-6 hours.
  • Crush until puree in a good food processor with a little water.
  • Add spices and let swell for 30 minutes.

  • Brush a frying pan with oil, make pancakes of the desired size. Grate some paneer and flip.

  • Serve with several types of chutney, Date chutney is perfect! Mango lassi or chae are good accompaniments - try it :)
