I myself am very fond of snacks like cheese and crackers. Both as an appetizer or snack. The great thing about the meal is that you can vary it as much as you want. Especially with more flavors, which do not only come through the cheese. In addition, slightly less coarse crackers are allowed in this context :) Here is my little variation for Sunday coziness, where I have combined tamarind and date chutney with cheese. At the same time, I chose chili pickle as the icing on the cake, so I get an extra flavor enhancer, as I really like spicy food.
Papadam is also great as a type of "cracker", especially for those who cannot tolerate gluten. With this type of snack you can vary it as desired, such as more vegetables or other types of cheese. This is definitely a snack you can enjoy with a clear conscience!
