Jeera Alu - potatoes with cumin

Potatoes don't have to be boring, at least not in the Indian way. We have many ways to prepare potatoes, which means we don't get bored. And who doesn't like a little variety in flavors? This time the potatoes will be boiled and then fried. The dish can be enjoyed alone with a little kefir or yogurt, but also alongside rice, salad, lentil soup or vegetables.

This is what you need:

2 tablespoons oil

1 teaspoon cumin

1 tsp garam masala

500 grams of potatoes

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 tsp chili powder

2 tablespoons fresh coriander

Procedure:

Boil and peel the potatoes, then cut them into cubes.

Let the pan heat up and the cumin sizzle a little. Then add the potatoes, salt and chilli powder. Chop the fresh coriander while the potatoes are frying. Remember to stir a little while you cook.
