Hi everyone! I'm still in India and having a great time. Looking forward to sharing some pictures from the trip as soon as possible, hopefully next week. As you know, I'm a vegetarian myself and as a goal for the blog this year I wanted to inspire you to cook more vegetarian food.
I haven't had time to come up with recipes in the "vegetarian" category, but now I'm going to get better. I thought I'd share a recipe we often eat for dinner that is both healthy and tasty, considering that you use cabbage. This is common to use, but can quickly become a bit boring perhaps? In addition, the dish is both gluten- and lactose-free. Therefore, I hope this recipe will provide some inspiration :)
Bandh gobhi mattar // Cabbage with peas
What you need (5 servings):
5-6 tablespoons oil
1 knife-edge dowel rod
1 ½ tsp cumin
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 ½ teaspoons turmeric
2 teaspoons salt
1 tsp chili powder
600 gr cabbage
100-150 g peas, preferably frozen
1½ tsp garam masala
2 tablespoons fresh chopped coriander
Procedure
Heat oil, add cumin seeds, cumin seeds and mustard seeds . When the mustard seeds pop, add cabbage, peas and spices. Stir regularly and cook for 15 - 20 min. on medium heat.

Mix in garam masala for the last 3 minutes and sprinkle with fresh coriander. Serve with roti, parantha or rice with raita .
Hope this inspires a little more! Good luck :)
