Is this a dish you've tried at a restaurant before? Or maybe you want a new twist on dinner? You can use other types of meat. For the lamb curry I used 500 gr of lamb roast, with some bone. Oil is not really necessary, but I had 2 tablespoons of oil since it's Sunday dinner.
LAMB CURRY:
500 g meat
2 tablespoons oil
1 good tablespoon curry paste
2 good tablespoons sour cream
1 dl water
Start by cutting the meat into pieces. Mix the paste and sour cream in the pan, stir well to combine. Add oil and cook for 1-2 minutes until you see the oil "rise".
Next, mix in the meat. Mix well, let the meat simmer in the sauce for a few minutes. Add 1 part water, the more water the more sauce you get. The dish will also be milder depending on how much water you add. Cook until the meat is tender and cooked through. Finish with a good sprinkling of fresh coriander.
The dish is ready to serve. Feel free to use raita mix, rice, salad, papadams and naan bread on the side.
Hope this helped a little to use the paste in more ways and for many dishes.
If you didn't get it earlier, you can make lentil soup, daal , using the same paste.
Good luck and happy Sunday! :)
