Allergy-friendly and healthy snack - Papadam

Flatbread made from lentil flour is both healthy and easy to make. Many people think it has to be deep-fried, which means it quickly becomes less healthy. That's why I thought I'd make a post about this, to show how easy it actually is. By the way, did you know that lentil flour is gluten-free? Papadam is also lactose-free, which makes it allergy-friendly both as a snack and an appetizer. Start by setting the oven to 250 degrees, preferably hot air. Then place the papadam on a rack as shown in the picture.

Place the rack in the middle of the oven for 30-40 seconds. When the entire bread is filled with bubbles and starting to turn golden, it's ready!

We carry two types of "Papadam Original" and "Papadam with Cumin". The latter has more flavor in it. The ingredients in the bread are: Lentil flour, salt, sunflower oil, baking soda and yarrow. It is also suitable for soup, tapas, salad and tacos or try it as a gluten-free cracker for cheese, especially Brie.
