MANGO FOR TWO

Fresh mango jelly is something you've probably never tasted before? Let yourself be tempted because it's very good. I made two variations, one I diluted a little with water, you can use milk if you like. Then it turns out a little pale I think. It's a matter of taste whether you want to dilute the mango or not, but I think it turned out a little too sweet when it wasn't diluted.

If you want a vegetarian version, you can use agar-agar, which is plant gelatin. It will not be as firm as when you use gelatin. Heat up the mango, water, and 3-4 tsp agar-agar, mix well. Cool and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.

MANGO GEL

3.5 dl mango puree

1.5-2 dl water

6 sheets gelatin

Vanilla sauce

Procedure:

Soak gelatin in cold water. Mix mango and water, squeeze out all the water from the gelatin sheets and dissolve them in ½ dl boiled water. Pour the gelatin mixture in a thin stream with the mango while stirring. Leave for a few hours in the refrigerator until the gel hardens.
