Baked apple with mango cream

You just have to try this dessert, egg and flour free. I have used lactose-free heavy cream, but you can use oat cream or soy cream. This makes it even more allergy-friendly if needed. In addition, it is vegetarian, so it is great for many guests!

If you are making mango ice cream cake , you can make some extra ice cream and freeze it separately to serve with this dessert instead of making mango cream.

BAKED APPLE

2 apples

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

4 teaspoons honey

2-3 tablespoons almonds

MANGO CREAM

4 dl heavy cream

250 gr Nirus mango puree

4 tablespoons sugar

Procedure:

  • Peel the apples, cut in half and remove the cores. Coarsely chop the almonds.
  • Sprinkle ½ teaspoon cinnamon and 1 teaspoon honey on each apple half, sprinkle with almonds.
  • Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.
  • Whip the cream and sugar, mix in the mango puree.
  • Cool the baked apples slightly, otherwise the cream will melt when serving.

Served either in portions or in a large dish. Delicious and amazing.
