Niru Kumra started Masalamagic 10 years ago with the vision to learn Norwegians to make authentic Indian food. With new packaging for Masala Magic wanted to achieve clearer brand story and better differentiation against competitors. This is an extreme relaunch to a whole new level, where product line to Masalmagic clearly assert themselves. Packaging design is informative and gives weight and credibility. The term is magical and exotic, but also modern and Scandinavian. The designer has achieved a good balance between items, a color palette that is well suited to packaging. Nice color coding shows that design has been used in a good way to lift the products. The result is a highly successful and aesthetic storytelling.
